Pretty sad, huh?

I called this thing, “What’s in my head,” and haven’t posted anything! Ha! Sounds about right.

I can’t seem to get in the habit of coming over to tumblr, what with blogs, twitter, and facebook consuming my life and all. Gotta try a little harder, I guess!

This is the first of my Candle Art series. It’s what I find myself working on these days. When I’m thinking, I do this extreme candle meditation thing, where I melt all sorts of candles and crayons until the wax flows freely. Then I try to capture those moments on film. By the time the flame goes out, the canvas is dry and brittle and dull. The magic only exists in the moment. The rest of the series can be seen at: http://lisismb.deviantart.com/ Zoom
